About us

We believe that dogs sometimes don't get the after-care treatment they so wish following surgery or injury, to help with their recovery back to normal function to live a happy and healthy life. RawPhysio was launched in 2019 as a service to help rehabilitate these dogs, through the use of veterinary physiotherapy techniques and educating owners to ensure their dog is well on their way to making a healthy recovery.

We feel that a multi-modal approach to rehabilitation is key, because of this, we work very closely with Choice Hydrotherapy to ensure that dogs also benefit from water-based treatments too. We also communicate with veterinary teams working collaboratively to achieve the best results for your dog.

A short story about me

"I started my journey after completing an Animal Management Extended Diploma at Stafford College in 2014 which included a placement module within a veterinary practice which I loved, I believe this encouraged me to work within the veterinary industry. Since then, I have graduated from Moreton Morrell College in 2019 after studying a three-year Veterinary Physiotherapy degree to become a fully qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist. More recently, in 2021, I have completed a SEG Level 3 Canine Hydrotherapy course with Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy to become a qualified Canine Hydrotherapist. I have always had a real love and passion for the health and welfare of all dogs. My desire for pursuing a veterinary career was also through the presence of my late childhood dog and friend, Jessie.

Outside of work, I have a passion for running, staying active, and going for adventurous walks with my wife Georgie, and whippets, Mylo and Moss."
